SACRAMENTO – Assemblymember Rivas (D-Salinas) issued the following statement in honor of the Anderson Dam Groundbreaking event:
SALINAS – Assemblymember Robert Rivas (D-Salinas) and Senator Anna Caballero (D-Salinas) honor Clinica de Salud del Valle de Salinas (CSVS) as the 2021 California Nonprofit of the Year for their districts.
SACRAMENTO – Assemblymember Rivas (D-Salinas) released the following statement on the historic $262.6 billion state budget approved by the California Legislature today. Once signed by the Governor, the budget will go into effect on July 1 and includes expanded funding for a variety of priorities championed by Asm.
SACRAMENTO – Legislation by Assemblymember Robert Rivas (D-Salinas) to protect Silicon Valley and Assembly District 30 from dam failure passed off the Senate Floor this afternoon with a unanimous, bipartisan vote of 39-0. Assembly Bill 271 will assist the earthquake retrofitting and replacement of Anderson Dam located in Morgan Hill.
SACRAMENTO – As California recovers from this weekend’s historic heatwave, the State Assembly this week passed three bills by Assemblymember Robert Rivas (D-Hollister) to help fight the climate crisis, incentivize sustainable agriculture, and advance environmental justice for all.
Sacramento – Today, Assembly Bill 73, the Farmworker Wildfire Smoke Protections Act authored by Assemblymember Robert Rivas (D-Hollister), passed off the Assembly Floor with a unanimous, bipartisan vote.
