SACRAMENTO — Speaker of the Assembly Robert Rivas issues the following statement on the Supreme Court ruling to block the Trump administration’s executive order to restrict mail-in voting:
“In California, we trust voters. Today’s Supreme Court decision means California and democracy rise above Trump and Republican attempts to silence and suppress. It means ballots will be delivered, on time, to every eligible voter. Because Californians run California’s elections — not the White House.
