Speaker Rivas: Trump’s Raids, Abuses of Power Terrorize California’s Economy and Communities.

SACRAMENTO—  On January 6, the whole world watched as Donald Trump incited a violent mob to attack our nation’s Capitol. Now, on June 6 in Los Angeles, Trump has done it again – this time unleashing ICE agents to raid businesses, round up workers, arrest parents and children, and incite violence and chaos in the streets. Today, Speaker Robert Rivas issued a statement to all Californians: Stand united with our immigrant communities, workers, and families. 

“We will only stop Donald Trump by working together. Now is our moment. Speak out. Rise-up peacefully. Enough is enough.”
