Proyecto Vecindad is a community organization based out of the Southeast LA area.
Founded by Kateri Gutierrez (Lynwood resident), Collective Avenue Coffee is a worker-owned cooperative that also host open-mic’s for local Southeast artists. They will be providing coffee at the event.
They are a vendor-based organization focused on bringing the local community and artist together. Per Molcajete Dominguero, they are the largest Latinx pop-up vendor in the U.S. They are a one of a kind shopping extravaganza that takes place every month featuring over 70 curated local artist and vendors. Molcajete is known for their large social media network by which they regularly secure thousands of attendees for their events. They were chosen as a partner in part to help us promote this event throughout their networks.
Lil' Libros was founded by Patty Rodriguez & Ariana Stein. Patty is a mother of two and a community leader who enjoys empowering tomorrow’s young leaders at conferences and summits, and can be seen on Saturday mornings cheering on her oldest son at a soccer game. You can listen to her every morning on On Air with Ryan Seacrest.
